2-1-1 Tampa Bay Cares, Inc. is the front door for a collaborative project called the Adult Emergency Financial Assistance Program (AEFAP). This project helps individuals and married couples without minor children by providing financial assistance to help prevent evictions, foreclosures, and unhelathly living conditions as well as things to keep people employed. The assistance provided is done to help empower individuals and married couples without minor children to become self-sufficient. Assistance is provided only once every twelve (12) months. This collaborative is a partnership between Pinellas County Human Services (PCHS) and 2-1-1 Tampa Bay Cares (211).


2-1-1 Tampa Bay Cares, Inc. is the front door for a collaborative project called the Family Services Initiative (FSI). This project helps families with minor children prevents child protection investigations, homelessness, and further social service engagement by providing families with the right service, at the right time, for the right need. The initiative provides support and wrap-around services to meet families’ basic needs and help empower them to become self-sufficient.


2-1-1 Tampa Bay Cares is part of a statewide program of 2-1-1 providers that is dedicated to helping Florida veterans.

Our state has the third largest veteran population in the nation with 1,755,680 veterans calling Florida home. 2-1-1 Tampa Bay Cares is working in conjunction with the Florida Department of Veterans Affairs and the Crisis Center of Tampa Bay to provide a help-line where veterans can receive both emotional support and linkages to community resources.

By calling the Florida Veterans Support Line at 1-844-MYFLVET (693-5838), or 2-1-1, veterans are able to talk with someone who can help them through the difficulties of transitioning back to civilian life.


2-1-1 partners with Suncoast Center to provide the Sexual Assault Services Hotline for Pinellas County.

If you have been sexually assaulted, please call the Sexual Assault Services Hotline at 727-530-7273 anytime 24 hours a day.

At 2-1-1 TBC, all 2-1-1 Specialists are certified by the Florida Council Against Sexual Violence. 2-1-1 Specialists are trained according to the Florida Council Against Sexual Violence Advocacy Core Training (ACT) and utilize the RIDES model (Relationship Building, Identifying the Problem/Need, Dealing with Feelings and Exploring Options, and Safety) for sexual assault crisis intervention.


No matter what problems you are dealing with, we want to help you find a reason to keep living.

2-1-1 Tampa Bay Cares partners with the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline, answering suicide calls primarily for Pinellas County. 2-1-1 TBC is accredited by the American Association of Suicidology for crisis intervention  services and utilizes and evidence based training called the Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) model for suicide/crisis intervention. We’re here to listen and provide you critical referrals if you need additional support.
