Meals on Wheels - Pinellas
Low-cost meals are available for all Pinellas County residents, regardless of age. Individuals age 6- an older who are homebound for reasons of illness, nutrition risk, isolation, or physical, emotional, or behavioral disabilities may be eligible for a no-cost home delivered meal. On-Site Meal Locations for Adult 60+ - Pinellas
Older adults 60+ can enjoy a free meal at the following locations throughout Pinellas and Pasco, offered 5 days a week. Not only does having a meal in your community ensure you are able to access healthy food, it provides you with an opportunity to conenct with others. Summer Grab and Go Meals for Children Age 18 and Under
Summer BreakSpot provides free , nutritious grab and go meals to kids and teens 18 and under. For more information on the Summer BreakSpot program visit: https://www.summerbreakspot.org/ To find a location near you, text "FoodFL" to 877-877 or dial 211. Please note this program only runs during the summer when children and youth are not in school.
Mobile Food Pantries - Tampa Bay Region
Mobile food pantries are a good resource to help stretch your monthly grocery budget. These programs help bring food directly to specific areas on various days of the week where individuals and families can pick up additional food. State of Florida SNAP & SUNCAP Benefits Programs
Additional food assistance is available through the Department of Children and Families SNAP Program. To apply visit: http://www.myflorida.com/accessflorida/ or call 866-762-2237 or 850-300-4323 (TTY 1-800-955-8771).

To apply for the SUNCAP Program file for SSI at one of the Florida Social Security offices, Social Security will decide if you are eligible for SUNCAP. You can also file for the regular Food Assistance Program, if you get SSI you will be converted to SUNCAP. If you already get SSI, but do not get Food Assistance call 850-300-4323, Florida Relay 711, or 1-800-955-8771(TTY).
